School Performance (SATs)

Each Year, in the Summer term, Year 1, 2 and 6 pupils are tested using Standard Attainment Tests (SATs).

Year 1 children complete a phonics check.

Year 2 children and Year 6 children have end of year SATs.

We achieved results in line or above the national average in all categories for the expected standard and above or in line with the national ‘higher’ standard in writing, math's, grammar and punctuation and combined subjects.

Key Stage 2 (Year 6) Progress Measure

This data shows the progress  that our pupils have made between Year 2 and Year 6. A figure of 0 (zero) actually means that all children made the expected amount of progress. A negative number means that on average, the pupils did not make the expected amount of progress. A positive number means that on average, pupils made better than the expected progress.

As you can see, our school made amazing progress above the nationally expected progress in all subjects measured.  We achieved 'well above' national average in writing and maths and 'above' the national average in reading. We continue to be in the top 10% of schools in the UK for progress.

As you can see, we achieved above the national average in all subjects fro expected standard and above the national average for 'Greater Depth' in maths and reading.

 

Key Stage 1 (Year 1) Phonics check (2016-17)

We are delighted to be above the national average and improve on last year’s 80% (2015-16) with 83% of pupils passing the check this year (2016-17).

 

Early Years (Reception) - Good level of Development (GLD)

The percentage of pupils achieving a good level of development (2016-17) is 67% and is in line with last year’s national average  of 69% (2015-16). Our GLD has increased by a massive 25% since 2014-15 and is increasing every year.
